  • Pay your student union fee (ÖH‐Beitrag) & get your student ID at the International Relations office
  • Get your certificate of arrival signed (if needed from your home university)
  • Download the Studo App to have easy access to all important platforms on your phone
  • Get an Austrian SIM card (if necessary): SIM cards can be bought at all supermarkets / Spusu (online)
  • Get an Austrian bank account (in case you need it for receiving a grant, …): Student account at Sparkasse
  • Get Austrian health insurance (if you are a non‐EU‐citizen)
  • Register your residence in Austria (Meldezettel)
  • Take care of the Anmeldebescheinigung for EU citizens
  • Get a residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel für Studierende) for non‐EU‐citizens (if you stay longer than 6
    months)
  • Get a public transport ticket for Styria
  • Finish your Learning Agreement
