We’ve packed it with everything you need to prepare for your journey, from visa essentials to finding your perfect spot. - Pay your student union fee (ÖH‐Beitrag) & get your student ID at the International Relations office
- Get your certificate of arrival signed (if needed from your home university)
- Download the Studo App to have easy access to all important platforms on your phone
- Get an Austrian SIM card (if necessary): SIM cards can be bought at all supermarkets / Spusu (online)
- Get an Austrian bank account (in case you need it for receiving a grant, …): Student account at Sparkasse
- Get Austrian health insurance (if you are a non‐EU‐citizen)
- Register your residence in Austria (Meldezettel)
- Take care of the Anmeldebescheinigung for EU citizens
- Get a residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel für Studierende) for non‐EU‐citizens (if you stay longer than 6
months) - Get a public transport ticket for Styria
- Finish your Learning Agreement
